Has been so good to keep virtually meeting with our 'stepping up to leadership' course cohort the last couple of months. Had another great session last night & looking forward to discussing all things financial with @CFOTenax at the beginning of July.
Spent time today planning training on communication for our stepping up leadership course. Included lots of education specific points. Then found this... says so much about the power of communication to 'lift someone' - always a key principle of effective communication.
If you are thinking of a career in teaching you can train to teach from this September. Find out more by attending one of our virtual @getintoteaching events: 7pm 11 June or 10am 16 June. Let us know if you wish to attend: email [email protected]
Another great meeting tonight with our stepping up to leadership cohort. Headteacher Sue Beauchamp spoke about her journey to headship. Sue shared a passion for changing the lives of young people. Inspiring. Lots learnt about the principles of strong, courageous leadership.
Looking forward to this @daisychristo gave our annual Teaching School lecture a couple of year ago; her knowledge was invaluable then & this looks to be immensely helpful too. Tune in at 11am today, Mon 18 May, or watch on catch up!
Really looking forward to talking about memory, spaced repetition and how we can interrupt the forgetting curve for @researchEdhome on Monday at 11. The research in this area is so fascinating! Live link is here. https://t.co/uTBlOEUMjs #rEDHome

Great to meet with the national cohort of @CofE_EduLead NPQH this afternoon to reflect and discuss some more on 'called, connected, committed' school leadership @mrawolfe https://t.co/wFPkdhphKJ Good to connect with our south east cohort on assessment matters too.
Today's exciting session is with our own @matthewhood and @samtwiselton discussing 'What is educator expertise and how do we develop it?' tune in live at 11am or catch up later on YouTube https://t.co/kUUcyga7La
My @researchEdhome talk on teacher expertise and how to lead schools to get more of it is live. Very happy to have written this brand new talk after many months of reading and thinking. https://t.co/pOrENCbuWs
Lots of our partner schools are leading virtual assemblies but this looks great; a first national school assembly. Also a reminder that there are some great virtual lessons that schools can use through @OakNational; not least RE lessons taught by @bennettmemorial's @MissESpeakman
It’s a privilege to be leading the first national school assembly on Thursday morning, organised by @OakNational Academy.
Find out more below and I hope to see you there.
