I knew nothing about Alex Hormozi when I first met him. I saw his handlebar mustache and was like, “Who is this guy?”

I had like a 15-minute conversation scheduled with Alex. But we talked for 4 to 5 hours that night.

And then Alex said to me, “Hey, I think you'd really enjoy getting to know my wife, who is my partner and operator in the business.”

But when I met Leila Hormozi, she was like, “Who is this guy?” What does he want, etc.?”

At the time, they had started down the path of selling Gym Launch to private equity.

I advised them through the process and then they started Acquisition(.)com. So I'd seen Acquisition(.)com start from the beginning.

And today I’m the CEO and I get to work with my two best friends every day.

But the biggest lesson from my journey with them so far …

Relationships are your number one asset. Invest in them, generously.
