@ashleahalpern Enjoyed yr article abt cruising with your mom. I took several cruises with my mom because it was the easiest mode of travel for her and people took care of her (room attendant, dining room staff, etc.). I just lost her a few weeks ago, but we had some great times.

I joined a local bank 10 years ago. Lovely, family-like atmosphere. They sold to a bigger bank who's now trying to charge me a monthly fee. For the privilege of holding my money. How stupid do you think people are to pay banks monthly fees!? Switched to @CapitalOne online bank.

Did you get a letter in the mail from your term life insurer asking if you want to convert your term? Have you expressed interest in a permanent (lifelong) life insurance policy? If not, an agent is fishing for commissions, and probably going to sell you something you don't need.
