This is a great chart to use throughout our level IIIβs and future student teaching! The only way weβll be able to continue to develop our practices and be lifelong learners is through self reflection.
"Reflection is so important for growth," says educator Megan. That's why she uses this Glow & Grow chart to inspire Ss, colleagues β and herself! βοΈπ±

I love this use of manipulativeβs as it helps children to see that they can think about and represent numbers in many different ways! Overall, this helps students develop a more critical number sense and understand why math works!

I came across this poster and think itβs fantastic! Math talk doesnβt always have to be verbal. Instead, students and teachers can initiate math talk through hand signals and cues! A great math talk move!

This would be a fantastic math routine to utilize in the classroom! Similar to Which one Doesnβt Belong, students are motivated to engage in math talk and construct viable arguments that support their answer.
I love this lesson as I can see students working hands on and engaging in Illustrative Mathβs problem-based approach. This is going to help them develop a much more conceptual understanding of the content! Also, this lesson is great as it aligns directly to the standards!
I love this, as every student is going to have an opportunity to feel represented and heard within this classroom. Also, by learning about music and dance from different cultures, a wider range of inclusion and acceptance is promoted!
I love this activity and the lesson this educator is teaching. Often, our students develop anxiety or fear of making mistakes. This activity helps children to realize that mistakes are valuable, and should be celebrated! Mistakes help us to learn and grow!
