Very strange things happen up here that are normal to us. But they’re not really normal because then I think about how when I try to explain the things to my therapist, she laughs incredulously because it’s so surreal. Case in point:

@gabesimages I started using tru earth laundry strips 1.5 years ago (?) as a way to cut down on plastic (since it all ends up in garbage up here) and I didn’t have very high expectations for them working… but they definitely do and I’ve used them ever since!

@thatgrrl Oh, awesome - I'm glad that article got a new read! I haven't adventured around Yellowknife too much (only been 3 times since I moved up here) or anywhere in the Yukon yet, so I'm not sure... but that's a great question! I assume Yukon must, with the gold rush.
