I am also in the process of getting my degree as an animal cruelty investigator and the way that you treated this loving, affectionate animal certainly raised many concerns. No matter how temperamental or “bad” an animal is acting does not give anyone a reason to act violently.

My pitbull/bull mastiff mix is also 75 lbs. and when I come home he jumps all over me. He does this very frequently actually even if I just look at him. But I would NEVER yell in his face like that, spit at him, or treat him with any disrespect such as you did.
