共情能力有高有低。共情跟自己身份、地位、角色、意识形态、利益、物理距离、熟悉程度相近的人比较容易。反之距离越远，衰减越快。

同时当一个伤害事件可以被套进某个正在进行的，更大的斗争叙事里时（比如性别对立），共情会被这个叙事重新分配优先级。
这意味着一���分的共情会被叙事立场直接否决，而不是单纯衰减。
这就是为什么一些人对待某些人的遭遇和不公表现出的不是忽视，而是漠视——忽视可能是没注意到，但漠视一定是视而不见。

意识形态叙事其实同时在做两件事：放大一些人的痛苦；降低甚至取消另一些人的痛苦的道德权重。
所以己方的受的伤害是系统性压迫的切实证据，而对立方受的伤害则是优势群体付出的合理代价。

这就是为什么我认为极端主义一定有恶的一面。一个人在某一个意识形态的阵营化上走得越远，则越有可能漠视更多真实的人遭受的真实伤害，越可能人为的重新定义痛苦。这种漠视同样会塑造人，至少会塑造对立阵营的人。
最后双方都得到了对方没有人性的证据。

要关注具体的人，而不是抽象的人。
