I have fought the neocons and warmongers in Washington for more than 25 years. Throughout, they have tried to silence, discredit, slander, and cancel me. Only recently, however, have they tried to deport me.
At least, that appears to have been the aim of a hit piece in Bari Weiss’s The Free Press, which claimed that Marco Rubio’s State Department was “investigating” me for allegedly seeking to “undermine the U.S.”—presumably because of my opposition to war with Iran.
Yet just hours later, the State Department issued a statement to reporters clarifying that “the State Department has no plans to revoke the green card of Mr. Parsi at this time.” Nor did it provide any confirmation for the central premise of the Free Press story—that an investigation of me existed in the first place.
So here’s what I think happened.

Jeremy Johnson - in 50 years time this will be the only 1.39 minutes of your life you'll be remembered for. It'll be played in genocide museums to sum up the complicity and callous brutality of the British state in the face of the slaughter of the Palestinian people - and the courage of those who opposed it.
BREAKING: Justice Jeremy Johnson has ruled that the Filton 4 will be sentenced as terrorists – even though two juries refused to convict them of violence charges over their efforts to disable an Israeli factory in the UK making killer drones for use in Gaza. They were found guilty of a minor charge of criminal damage.
Judge Johnson kept the jury in the dark of his plans to sentence the four as terrorists. This is the first time in British legal history that anyone has been sentenced as a terrorist for damaging property. It's a very dark moment in an increasingly authoritarian Britain.
Thousands of legal professionals complained about Johnson's clear abuses of legal procedures to help the government's case for proscribing Palestine Action as a terrorist group.
Johnson has now proved this was always a show trial.
I explain how he rigged the two trials here: https://t.co/fXTkUAmIvh

Remember a few months ago when Netanyahu said he was fine phasing out US military aid?
That's because he had a better idea. Section 224 of this year's defense bill would fuse the US and Israeli military sectors so deeply that the billions we send to Israel no longer require a congressional vote or any meaningful oversight.
Basically, it would take the question of military aid to Israel out of voters - and even their government's -hands.
That's what we're breaking down on the latest Always at War.

The UAE paid Iran billions of dollars in return for a halt to attacks on the country in an about-face for the Gulf state that staked out the most hawkish position on Iran, lobbying the US to continue waging war on the Islamic Republic, Reuters reported on Friday

This was widely rumored during the war, but has now been publicly confirmed:
Qatar struck a deal with Iran, shutting down gas production, in exchange for an agreement that Iran would refrain from further strikes on Ras Laffan. https://t.co/Ccb7dYdkBY
“Israeli firm BlackCore, suspected of interfering in France's local elections in March, is also suspected of meddling in elections in New York City and Scotland, and operating in Angola and Togo, France's disinformation detection service, Viginum, said.” https://t.co/Yfh8ArJhr1
The UAE "had agreed to release a total of $10 billion, more than $3 billion of which had already been delivered"
Two other sources "put the total funds involved at $20 billion, adding that the move had been agreed in return for a halt to Iranian attacks on the UAE"

The recent suspension of ICC Prosecutor Karim Khan over allegations of sexual misconduct, despite a lack of evidence, shows the U.S., Israel, and their Western allies will stop at nothing to torpedo any effort to hold Israel accountable for genocide.

Israel wants defense integration with the U.S., but Netanyahu is in a weak spot, and Trump holds all the cards. It's time the U.S. treats its relationship with Israel as a negotiation - not a handout.
