PSA: stop what you’re doing and go get some @vanleeuwen ice cream. It is worth it. Trust me. #arealdifference #besticecreamever #icecream #summer

Ahh the joys of #teaching. Spending >6 hours preparing for being observed for 50 mins and remembering you still also have to #plan for the other classes too. Dreaming about #jobsearching

[amanda @amandoo]

#teacher here, doing a #ProfessionalDevelopment on UDL (universal design for learning) and they’re suggesting I make a buffet for all types of learners. Um, ma’am, I barely have time to “make a meal” for each class. #teaching #unrealisticexpectations

[amanda @amandoo]

So the bad news is that #nanowrimo didn't go so well for me, but the good news is I made it through another month of #teaching #youwinsomeyoulosesome #amwriting anyway in December...is the plan

[amanda @amandoo]

In other news, I did finish reading @lisajewelluk ‘s “None of This is True” and I think I read over half the book in the last day and a half it was impossible to put down! #masterpiece

[amanda @amandoo]

No #Nanowrimo2023 for me today, still trying to balance being a teacher with all the grading and planning to be done vs living my life after school.

[amanda @amandoo]

Fun to see and reflect a year later I still think this book is great, and I have read a few whole chunky books over the year. Possibly the two are even related!?

Well, I neglected my students’ ungraded essays, but I wrote a few words for #Nanowrimo2023 bc #metime and now I’ve also stayed up way past my bedtime to keep reading, so that’s basically like research for #amwriting … let’s go #NaNoWriMo ers!

[amanda @amandoo]

@Starbucks @Ian_n_wells This is still sad news. I’m having trouble believing it. Any chance you could just bring it back, this season?! #favorite #please and #ThankYou

[amanda @amandoo]

Very inspired by #mediumday today. Gonna write about it, I swear. 😂

Thanks, though, to all who presented and created a virtual community today!!

[amanda @amandoo]

They say don't judge a book by it's cover but how come I can always tell when a movie's gonna suck by its thumbnail image on the flix or the lu?!

[amanda @amandoo]

So long gone are the days of tweets being limited to 140 characters. I mean, they're not even called tweets anymore. What are they?! 🤨

[amanda @amandoo]

You here because #facebookdown too?! Hmm what to do...I guess scrolling twitter will have to do for now 🤣

[amanda @amandoo]

sometimes you celebrate the #smallwins , like #working on your #nanowrimo when you wake up at 2 a.m.
sometimes you start to wonder if you're really #writing the words of a sermon that no one will hear https://t.co/t6mHzmFyNA #TheBeatles

[amanda @amandoo]

@qwanderer7 hope it goes well!

[amanda @amandoo]

#amwriting am updating my nano numbers but I will not share my #wordcount cuz IT LOW
#whoswithme #nanowrimo22 #writerssupportingwriters #encouragement

[amanda @amandoo]

another day, another updating the #nanowrimo with the small #wordcount but I did it #somewritingisbetterthannowriting #NaNoWriMo22

[amanda @amandoo]

ahhh sweet #mania there you are!...now can I use you to make up for eight days of low #nanowrimo #wordcount

[amanda @amandoo]

While the brain fog has not helped me in #amwriting a ton, I have been #writing every day, and that's big for me! #NaNoWriMo #nanowrimo2022 #smallwins
