Getting a lot of good feedback on the second draft of The Grafting Mark! I think it was a good decision to spread it around to friends and family at this point. The book is at heart what it wants to be but I'm getting a well rounded perspective on how it's going to read.

@Abookwormturns @CHIMPSINSOCKS There's a common misconception that if we make a law with obvious flaws "surely there will be an exception" but that's not how law works. If we want there to be exceptions, we have to put those in the law!

@Abookwormturns @CHIMPSINSOCKS Yes. Absolutely. However they would go to jail. The law is forcing them to choose between this patient and every other patient they might potentially save in the future. It's horrific. The law must be changed.
