Evidence emerging from the #Amhara and Oromia regions of Ethiopia, as well as from the capital city of Addis Ababa, have led the @LemkinInstitute to conclude that there is a strong probability that the Amhara people are facing an active genocide committed by members of the Ethiopian National Defense Forces and armed Oromo groups. This genocide follows the genocide committed by President Abiy Ahmed against the #Tigray people in northwestern Ethiopia, which is ongoing in the form of forced displacement from the Western Zone and insufficient access to basic needs.

On #GERD:
Really fourth and final filling?
Originally, the reservoir's capacity was planned at 74 billion cubic meters, and was expected to generate up to 6,000 MW of power. But the number of turbines was later reduced from 16 to 13 to generate only 5100 MW without any explanation when the current government came to power. And so far, only 2 turbines have been installed. It was also recently said that the construction works in the dam would persist for 5-6 years because the middle wall needs to be more heightened for the reservoir's capacity to become 74 billion cubic meters as initially planned. Why would it be the final filling @AbiyAhmedAli? Explanation is needed! The people have the right to know.
