One in three of us will care for someone with #dementia in our lifetime.
We are disappointed, along with our colleagues from across the sector, that vital progress on social care appears to have been watered down.
We need an ambitious approach to support the growing number of people affected by dementia who rely on health and social care.
Dementia is a progressive condition that gets gradually worse over time. It can be helpful to think of #dementia progressing in three stages – early, middle and late.

Happy new year! 🎉 Back in 1992 there were only two dementia specialist Admiral Nurses.
Today, we're delighted to have 409 nurses providing life-changing support for families affected by #dementia.
We’re excited to see how this number grows over the next year 💙
We're launching a new regular #TwitterSpace called 'In conversation with...', where our host @viclyons speaks to individuals about their experiences of #dementia and Dementia UK.

"My female colleagues would often talk about their #menopause symptoms. I always felt like my symptoms were much worse, but I couldn’t get anyone to take me seriously. I had no idea that it could be #dementia."
