You can only grow if you’re willing to feel awkward/uncomfortable when you try something new. Let 2026 be the year that you become unafraid to fail. Know that you will fail. Just keep attacking the uncomfortable. You'll continually get better. Eventually, you'll get A LOT better!
Sports will help build your character, but they’ll also expose it. Everyone sees how you handle success, failure, pressure & adversity. The points, medals, highlights & accolades disappear. But the kind of teammate you were? That’s what people remember. That’s who you really are.
Talent is overrated.
Give me the player who:
✅ Plays to win
✅ Can be trusted
✅ Shows up on time
✅ Listens and learns
✅ Works their tail off
✅ Embraces their role
✅ Makes the right reads
✅ Brings energy every day
Talent without this is a headache.
The dream you are looking for is in the WORK you’re choosing to avoid. You won’t make it without putting in the work. Everything you want in life is on the other side of something that sucks. DO THE WORK because “someday” will eventually become NEVER. Don’t look back with regret!
NEXT WEEK IS SPIRIT WEEK AT TDA!

Are you dominating the things that Take No Talent?
"What you achieve is directly related to what you put in.
If your work ethic and goals don't line up, something has to change.
Most people sell themselves short and lower their bar.
Don't be most people.
Change what most won't: your work." @CoachYourKids
