@ite_ad @SpeaksTheodosia @sabrina_verita Interesting take. My rebuttal would be: what do we do for those on life support? Do we try to do what is best for them, even if they can’t speak for themselves, because they have inherent dignity as human beings?
Does a child in the womb not deserve the same treatment?

The actual definition of fetus is the the developmental stage that follows the embryo stage, which for humans is 8 weeks through birth.

@appalucie You have a very poor understanding of what the vast majority of pro-life people believe. I do not believe a child in the womb is more important than the mother. I believe they are of equal value. That is why it is a human rights discussion, including both mom and baby.

@conservawoman12 I tend to look at online arguments as practice for real life, too. Recognizing what argument they are using, and knowing how to defend it. The Equal Rights Institute does a fantastic job of training pro-lifers in this way.

@conservawoman12 I totally get you. From the sounds of it I think you are exactly the kind of person the pro-life group needs. Another tip I try to remember is if I express any amount of anger, I’ve already lost. I know what I believe and why I believe it. The truth will stand on its own.

@conservawoman12 Also, it is totally possible to work and have babies at home! Keep work at work and be fully invested when you are home. At least, it’s working for my family so far!

@conservawoman12 I see zero value in arguing with someone in private. At least when it comes to strangers online. Those we have relationships with in real life is a different matter, and depends on the nature of the relationship.
