There’s a Japanese saying that I love:
“If you feel like you’re losing everything, remember, trees lose their leaves every year, yet they still stand tall and wait for better days to come.”
We’re tutoring the next 1000 learners for free this summer. See how far your kid can go in math and coding!
Comment what you want your kid to learn, and we’ll send you an invite to try Koji for free.

Major cheat code for life: Be fully where your feet are. When you're at work, work. When you're with family, be with family. When you're resting, rest. Most people are physically present and mentally everywhere else.
I’m in love with this sentence:
“The degree to which a person can grow is directly proportional to the amount of truth he can accept about himself without running away.”
One of the most freeing realizations in life: You are not locked into your current identity. You can change your habits, your standards, your circle, your mindset, your career, your health, your entire direction. You're allowed to wake up one day and decide to become someone new.
Tough day for folks (DM me if I can help!) but if I found myself suddenly laid off from a company that cited AI as a cause, this is what I’d do:
- download codex and Claude/code
- say: “this was my job and how I spent my day, how can you help me automate it w skills”
- push a dozen of those skills to GitHub
- open up Claude design and make a portfolio site, with an “agent” per skill explaining how you built it, what tools it interacts with, etc.” give to lovable or v0 or whatever to publish
- post that site and link to GitHub on LinkedIn
- search “ai for <job>” and try all the new startups, form an opinion, message their founders
- try something scary like openclaw, form an opinion
- take a course in tactical AI in your field
- build, share, build
The gap in AI adoption is getting bigger. Start reskilling now while it’s early.
The time is now.
Your entire life will change when you realize that energy fuels growth. Give energy to stress, complaints, and negative people, they will grow. Give energy to ambitions, gratitude, and positive people, they will grow. Choose wisely.
Be boring in the right ways. Go to bed early. Wake up early. Eat simple foods. Save money. Exercise. Read old books. Avoid drama. Boring is seriously underrated.
If you want to achieve anything great, it needs to become your one true priority. The only thing on your mind. Nobody accidentally got rich from business. Nobody accidentally built a great physique. They were obsessed with it for multiple years until it became their default.
You as a single person have more power today than a 20 person company of the past. That's insane. The internet gave you the ability to learn anything. Social media gave you the leverage to reach anyone. AI is giving you the ability to create almost anything. Please don't waste it
You must read. Read nonfiction. Read fiction. Read history. Read philosophy. Read psychology. Read banned literature. Read poetry. Read about new technology. Read biography. Read memoir. Read on economics. Read on finance. Reread what you have already read. Read. Reflect. Repeat.
