Hon’ble Sarsanghachalak Shri. Mohan Bhagwat Ji and Hon’ble Union Home Minister Shri. Amitbhai Shah unveiled the grand statue of Swatantryaveer Vinayak Damodar Savarkar and inaugurated the ‘Veer Savarkar Prerna Park’ and I was honoured to witness this historic moment.

Standing on the very land where Vinayak Damodar Savarkar endured unimaginable torture, solitary confinement and decades of imprisonment for Bharat, one is reminded of his unshakeable resolve and limitless love for the motherland. His fearless spirit, forged in the darkness of the Cellular Jail, continues to guide India with the ideals of cultural nationalism and national unity.

This majestic statue will stand as a timeless symbol of his sacrifice, an inspiration for generations to come, reminding every Indian that courage, conviction and patriotism can never be shackled.

भारतीय संस्कृति की महान यात्रा में जन्मभूमि के महत्त्व, उसके लिए त्याग व हजारों क्रांतिवीरों की स्वाधीनता की उत्कट अभिलाषा, इन सभी का सार ‘सागरा प्राण तळमळला’ युवाओं को अवश्य पढ़नी चाहिए और राष्ट्र के गौरव को और भी ऊँचाई देने का संकल्प लेना चाहिए।
