The biggest mistake in the Indian aviation space is the merger of @airvistara Whatever may be the issues that every service business may have, overall it was always world class, better than any domestic airline globally or at par.

Now what ? @airindia transformation will take time. It’s a big company, it will take time to resolve a lot of issues. So the only option is @IndiGo6E at scale where over the past few flights, I have seen a great uptick in customer service. I think our competition commission is non existent.

The merger kills an airline we all loved.

Politicians and bureaucrats don’t care. Mediocrity is totally acceptable except when it happens with us.

I think @airvistara merger should have been delayed, everyone wins except customers. It’s once again @DGCAIndia and our ministers who could not engage in that dialogue.

India is now an aviation duopoly, expect to pay higher fares and can’t complain about quality, because that’s what we have.

@AkasaAir needs to fill that space. With aviation becoming profitable, we really need some deep pocketed companies to step in and make us great again.

Flying the last few flights on @airvistara before a service excellence model in Indian aviation fades away.
