Amazon India full of scammers!

Ordered a ₹30,000 product from Amazon India. Got a ₹150 mouse instead.

It was an open-box delivery,
but the delivery agent forced my younger brother to share the OTP before opening the package. He recorded everything, including the unboxing.

Now Amazon says they can’t help because it was an open-box delivery.

₹30,000 gone. ₹150 mouse received. Video proof available. Still no resolution.

Absolutely unacceptable.

I live in Vijayanagar, Bangalore. I had ordered 1 litre of Nandini milk orange packet from Blinkit to prepare paneer. After boiling the milk i added around 150 mL of lemon and continued boiling for more than 5 minutes and the magic happened..!
Milk was still milk and it dint get curdled .! I continued to add few more lemon and boil it and still it’s the same..!

What kind of food we are consuming even after paying inflated prices ?

If you cannot travel without a Lower Berth and didn't get one during booking or charting, cancel your ticket and don't travel in that train. Charts are now prepared 10-12 hours prior to invoke a plan B.

Lower berth exchange is NOT a right. Dog whistling or guilt tripping do not work anymore. Best is to approach an onboard TTE. Though not obligatory, he may try to find one for exchange from willing passengers.

If you can't climb a berth; you know it very well and still opt to travel, bring a bedsheet from home and spread it on the floor to sleep between two lower berths without creating a scene.

People put in so much effort in the rat race to get a lower berth from the paltry quota available for non-senior citizens. They are not up for grabs.

I have never and will never exchange my Lower Berth or Window seat for anyone.

Enough of this nonsense.

I recently stayed at a 5-star hotel and accidentally wandered into what looked like a modern-day royal durbar.

A High Court judge was presiding over a conference there. Nothing unusual about that. What was unusual was the sheer size of the entourage and the spectacle around him.

People waiting in the lobby with flowers, an army of sycophants hovering around, hotel staff being commanded as though they were palace servants… their attitude was basically:

“OMG THE HONOURABLE PERSON HAS ENTERED THE BUILDING. EVERYONE FORM A HUMAN PETAL CARPET.”

And in the morning, the judge was given a secluded cabin for breakfast while the rest of us… ordinary paying peasants… ate around him.........apparently the sight of commoners eating dosa in the same room is a threat to judicial dignity. 😂

I’m all for security and reasonable protocol. But this was theatre disguised as security.

And the funniest part? When I asked the hotel reception about the whole circus while paying my bill, even they sounded completely fed up.

We became a republic decades ago. We got independence from the British. Although, we’re still waiting for independence from the feudal mindset.

Companies should push back. This stretch is the backbone of Bangalore GCC's & Startups, the primary growth engine of the city.

The road surface on ORR is quite good by Bangalore standards & there is no immediate need to do this.

I was gonna be quiet but seeing this I felt like I shouldn’t. I run a bootstrapped startup and we imported two Nvidia Jetsons. It’s been held up at customs for two weeks now. Reason? They want us to give them three certificates: EPR, WPC, and BIS. The thing is, it doesn’t apply to us, none of them do. We’re importing them for prototyping and R&D. EPR is an environment certificate for waste, it’s for producers and sellers. It’s exempt for internal use. WPC similarly needs only a self declaration for devices operating in unlicensed bands if they’re for internal use. For BIS, the Nvidia Jetsons are already registered on bureau of indian standards. We’ve filed a dozen responses, we got rejected with no explanation. Just a one liner: customs has rejected your letter, please furnish EPR, WPC, BIS. Or meet the officer directly. Now i need to go meet the customs officer at the port of entry, which I would’ve if I wasn’t traveling all the time.

Building in India is an absolute pain in the ass.

This is the reply

This is a well-known USSD-based call forwarding scam. Once activated, fraudsters will silently intercept all your incoming calls, allowing them to steal voice OTPs, hijack your WhatsApp or Telegram accounts, and compromise your bank details.

Star Health Insurance @StarHealthIns runs a scam under the guise of an insurance company.

My uncle has been paying premiums since 2022.

He was diagnosed with hypertension in 2024 & chronic kidney disease in 2025.

Now he’s in the hospital after suffering a heart attack.

But despite submitting multiple medical records proving he did not have any kidney disease before 2025, Star Health has rejected our cashless claim not once, not twice, but three times.

No clear explanation. No proper reasoning. Just rejection after rejection while a family is trying to deal with a medical emergency.

What’s the point of paying insurance premiums for years if the company looks for every possible reason to deny you when you actually need them?

If anyone from Star Health is listening, stop hiding behind automated rejections and review this case properly.

And if you’ve had a similar experience with Star Health, pls share it here. People deserve to know how Star Health deals with their customers even when lives are on the line.
