🌍🍋 From the orchards of Dhenkanal to the markets of London—Odisha’s Amrapali mangoes have made their first international mark this season.

Under the guidance of our Directorate of Horticulture and the Department of Agriculture & Farmers’ Empowerment, farmer producer organizations have successfully exported 3 tonnes of this golden delight. With institutional support from APEDA, Palladium, Gates Foundation, and our dedicated partners, this initiative has boosted farmer price realization by nearly 72%.

This milestone is not just about mangoes—it is about empowering our farmers, strengthening Odisha’s global footprint, and showcasing the excellence of our agricultural produce.

भरवस्तीत रिंग मेट्रोचे स्थानक;
कोंडी फुटणार नाही, वाढणार!

घोडबंदर परिसरातील रिंग मेट्रो स्थानकांच्या नियोजनाबाबत स्थानिक नागरिकांनी व्यक्त केलेल्या गंभीर आक्षेपांची दखल घेत आज शासकीय विश्रामगृहात संयुक्त ब���ठक घेतली. या बैठकीत संबंधित मेट्रो अधिकारी, प्रकल्प प्रमुख तसेच हिरानंदानी मेडोज, रोडाज, ऋतू इस्टेट, हिरानंदानी इस्टेट आदी भागांतील रहिवाशांचे प्रतिनिधी उपस्थित होते.

ठाणे शहरातील अंतर्गत वाहतुकीवरील ताण कमी करण्यासाठी सुमारे १२ हजार कोटी रुपयांच्या रिंग मेट्रो प्रकल्पाला मंजुरी मिळाली असून कामालाही सुरुवात झाली आहे. २९ कि.मी. लांबीच्या या मार्गातील काही भाग भूमिगत तर काही भाग उड्डाणपूल स्वरूपात असणार आहे.

मात्र, ज्या ठिकाणी हजारो नागरिकांचे वास्तव्य आहे, शाळा, रुग्णालये आणि सततची वर्दळ आहे, अशा भरवस्तीत स्थानक उभारल्यास वाहतूक कोंडी कमी होण्याऐवजी आणखी वाढेल, अशी रास्त चिंता नागरिकांनी बैठकीत मांडली.

नागरिकांचा आवाज ऐकणे ही माझी जबाबदारी आहे. त्यामुळे संबंधित अधिकाऱ्यांना या संपूर्ण परिसराची प्रत्यक्ष पाहणी करून लोकहिताचा योग्य मार्ग काढण्याच्या स्पष्ट सूचना दिल्या आहेत.

विकास हवा, पण तो लोकांच्या अडचणी वाढवणारा नसावा. ठाणेकरांच्या हिताला प्राधान्य देतच पुढील निर्णय व्हावेत, यासाठी मी ठामपणे पाठपुरावा करणार.
