یہ منصوبہ حکومتِ خیبر پختونخوا کے خیبر پختونخوا سٹیز امپروومنٹ پراجیکٹ (KPCIP) کے تحت مکمل کیا گیا ہے، جس کا مقصد شہریوں کو معیاری، سرسبز اور محفوظ عوامی مقامات فراہم کرنا، صحت مند طرزِ زندگی کو فروغ دینا، ماحول دوست ترقی کو یقینی بنانا اور خاندانوں کے لیے بہترین تفریحی سہولیات مہیا کرنا ہے۔

حیات آباد پارک شہریوں کو قدرتی ماحول سے لطف اندوز ہونے، اہلِ خانہ کے ساتھ معیاری وقت گزارنے، چہل قدمی، ورزش اور صحت مند سرگرمیوں کے لیے ایک جدید، محفوظ اور پُرسکون ماحول فراہم کرے گا۔ یہ منصوبہ پشاور کو مزید سرسبز، خوبصورت اور رہنے کے لیے بہتر شہر بنانے کے ساتھ ساتھ عمران خان کے عوامی فلاح، ماحول دوست ترقی اور بہتر معیارِ زندگی کے وژن کی عملی تعبیر بھی ہے۔

PTI Strongly Condemns the Heinous Kidnapping, Gang Rape, Extortion and Brutal Torture of Foreign Women in Lahore; Directly Implicates Grandson of Deputy Prime Minister Ishaq Dar and Demands His Immediate Resignation for a Transparent, Impartial Investigation Free from Elite Interference

Islamabad, July 5, 2026:

Sheikh Waqas Akram, Secretary Information of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), has issued the following statement:

Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf expresses its profound shock, grief and strongest condemnation of the horrific kidnapping, blackmail, extortion and barbaric sexual and physical torture inflicted upon two foreign women, nationals of the Netherlands and Venezuela, in Lahore. This shameful and heart-wrenching scandal has directly named Reza Dar, grandson of Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar, as a prime accused in the First Information Report (FIR).

What began as a criminal case has escalated into a grave matter of national and international consequence, seriously damaging Pakistan’s global image, diplomatic credibility and national honour. PTI rejects any political cover-up, attempts to intimidate the judiciary or tactics to shield members of the elite.

The serious allegations in the FIR, supported by the victims’ statements before the court, demand a completely transparent, thorough, independent and uncompromising investigation without interference. The probe following the recording of statements under Section 164 CrPC must be fully independent, free from political, administrative or elite influence, and conducted with absolute transparency. Disturbing reports have emerged of the misuse of state power to protect the accused from the outset. Allegations that police forcibly raided a Judicial Magistrate’s residence to pressure him represent a shocking example of elite interference in the judicial process.

The disclosures by senior police officials have clarified the timeline and depraved nature of this heinous crime. However, critical aspects remain unclear, including the identity of the mysterious “boss” named in the FIR as the orchestrator. Why is this individual still shielded? Until he is identified and brought before the law, the real forces behind the scandal will remain unaddressed.

PTI also questions the credibility of the investigation after the sudden departure of the foreign victims to their home countries. Were these traumatised women repatriated of their own free will, or was there a design to remove the primary complainants and suppress the case? Without their presence and testimony, how can meaningful convictions and justice be secured?

This scandal has brought international disgrace upon Pakistan. The country cannot afford any cover-up or protection of the powerful. To ensure an impartial, independent and fearless investigation free from political influence, Sheikh Waqas Akram demands the immediate resignation of Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar.

If Ishaq Dar has any regard for Pakistan’s international standing, honour and dignity, he must step down immediately. As long as a powerful member of the accused’s family occupies one of the country’s highest offices, a transparent and credible inquiry remains inconceivable.

PTI makes it clear that Pakistan’s honour and justice for these oppressed women must take precedence over the protection of ruling families.

Sheikh Waqas Akram demands strict criminal proceedings against all named accused and their patrons or facilitators. PTI will continue to raise its voice until the case reaches its logical and just conclusion.

Waqas blasts visionless rulers for reversing hard-won peace of Imran Khan era

ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) has strongly condemned the killing of three girls and the injuries to four other members of the same family in a suspected quadcopter attack in the Nargasi area of Birmal tehsil, Lower South Waziristan, early on Sunday.

In a statement, PTI Central Information Secretary Sheikh Waqas Akram expressed profound grief and heartfelt condolences. He questioned the alarming rise in drone-related strikes and security incidents, particularly in the border districts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

The attack killed three girls aged six to fifteen years, while four other family members, including one woman and three young boys, sustained injuries of varying severity.

Waqas described the loss of innocent civilian lives as deeply disturbing and demanded a transparent, impartial investigation to establish the facts and hold those responsible accountable.

Criticising the federal government over the deteriorating security situation, he recalled that during the PTI government under Prime Minister Imran Khan, exemplary peace had been restored with a significant decline in terrorist incidents and no drone strikes on civilians. However, since the regime change conspiracy, the country had seen a continuous decline in security, law and order, the economy, governance, and political stability, with ordinary Pakistanis bearing the brunt due to short-sighted and self-centred rulers imposed on the country.

PTI’s CIS urged the government to go beyond statements and take tangible, practical measures to prevent such attacks and protect citizens, especially in conflict-affected border regions.

He called on local administration and health authorities to provide immediate and the best possible medical treatment to the injured. Waqas prayed for their swift recovery and extended deepest sympathies to the bereaved family.

Today marks 648 days since the illegal incarceration of my brother Junaid Jahangir, who along with Salman Raza is spending his days in a dungeon , far away in Dubai. They have endured mental and physical pains, including 8.5 months of solitary confinement where they were not allowed to see sunlight or any human’s face, electric shocks, worst physical beating that led to loosening of teeth , and eventual extraction without giving any pain killer, surgery without anaesthesia and don’t know what else. In these 648 days, they fell sick or suffered from fever multiple times and were not given simple antipyretic medications. Still , to date, no family member is allowed to meet them, no lawyer is allowed to take up the case ..
We respectfully urge UAE authorities to look into the matter .. we urge the world to please raise their voice for Junaid and Salman. They have suffered alot.
