Alarm Phone was alerted by approx. 20 people in distress, trying to escape from #Sabratah in #Libya. They are adrift on a wooden boat about 40 nautical miles off #Lampedusa. Authorities are alerted!

🆘! ~400 people in distress south of #Sicily! Alarm Phone is in contact with a group of people travelling on a big fishing vessel. They say they are exhausted and out of food and drinking water after the long journey.
They ask for urgent rescue!

They told us that some on board are unconscious. They left from Türkiye Saturday morning & fear for their lives due to high waves. They are desperately asking for help. @HCoastGuard is alerted.

Over the last 2 days, we were informed about over 20 boats escaping #Tunisia, often by relatives. Unable to reach the majority of boats, we are trying to establish which arrived, been intercepted, or capsized. ���� Vast rescue efforts are needed!

Alarm Phone is in contact with about 500 people on a large boat who left from #Libya and called us from the Italian SAR zone. We alerted authorities.
Do not waste time: initiate a rescue operation now!

🆘~200 people in distress off #Kerkennah!
We were informed that the Tunisian Coastguard attacked 5 boats trying to escape from #Tunisia and stole their engines. ~200 people are left adrift while the Coastguard is watching! In Tunisia Black people are attacked, on land & at sea!

🆘 in #Malta SAR zone!

We are in contact with a boat in distress carrying ~80 people on board. They report their engine is broken and water is entering. Some of them need urgent medical support. We have alerted Maltese and Italian authorities and demand a quick rescue operation!

Un migrante è morto folgorato dopo essere salito sul tetto di un treno regionale francese, partito dalla stazione ferroviaria di #Ventimiglia. Il corpo è stato trovato verso le 18.30 di ieri alla stazione di Menton Garavan (Francia).
