Meet Kabir Chillar, who is currently pursuing his https://t.co/YSvOF5fxhn Computer Science at IIT Bombay. This guy secured AIR 1 in JEE Mains 2026 and AIR 2 in JEE Advanced 2026.

Today, he won a Gold Medal at the International Chemistry Olympiad (IChO) 2026, making India proud on the global stage.

He secured AIR 1 in JEE Main 2026 with a perfect 300/300 (100 percentile). In JEE Advanced 2026, he secured AIR 2 with an incredible 329/360, finishing just one mark behind AIR 1, Shubam Kumar.

He chose IIT Bombay CSE, and today, he, along with three other Indian students, won Gold Medals at the International Chemistry Olympiad (IChO) 2026 held in Uzbekistan, bringing home four Gold Medals for India.

how Kunal Shah landed a job at meta (and you can too)

saw the news. did some digging. here's the exact playbook he followed.

step 1: the resume
forget the one-pager. forget "results-driven professional with 10+ years of experience." kunal's resume was one line: built and exited freecharge. built cred to a $4.5b valuation.
ats-friendly? no. ats-proof? also no, because no ats was involved. skip the keyword stuffing, just stuff the company instead.

step 2: platforms, linkedin, wellfound, naukri
he didn't update his "open to work" banner. he didn't apply through a careers page and get auto-rejected by a bot in 4 seconds. he posted spicy hot takes on x for a decade until meta's chief product officer started reading them for fun.
turns out there's a tier above "actively applying" called "being the thing people apply to."

step 3: reaching out to a recruiter
skipped it entirely. chris cox, meta's cpo, reached out to him. no "hi, i came across your profile and have an exciting opportunity." no follow-up 11 days later. just a direct ping from the person who actually decides.
the real growth hack nobody tells you: be so good a c-suite exec stalks your profile for you.

step 4: interview prep
zero rounds. zero whiteboard. zero recruiter silently judging your tab-switching for 45 minutes.
his system design round was a literal payments company running in production, serving millions. his hard problems weren't on arrays, they were on why upi doesn't settle instantly.

step 5: mock interviews
the board meetings were the mock interviews. every investor call for 8 years was a behavioural round. "tell me about a time you failed" was every quarter cred missed its burn targets.

what this actually teaches us about hiring:
no matter the degree. no matter the resume. it's your proof of work that speaks.

Google which is cash surplus, just announced an additional capital raise of $80 bn.
Google annual profit is $160 bn, last quarter $62 bn, and market cap $4.5 trillion. That is close to total profits and market cap of all Indian listed companies put together.
It’s a wake up call to all companies to invest into the future, whatever the present maybe.
Now that IPL is done and dusted, time for India to focus on business of business.
