I don't think #Undri is part of the first phase. There are sceptics all over but we do feel that at least the push of #PavneetKaur ji Addl. PMC Commissioner has ensured that the 3 defunct Water Tanks made years ago finally are seeing action. Surely the areas around Dorabjee Mall would benefit as also part of Mohammedwadi.

However the issues of Undri Hilltop/Pisoli and others are different. As i see it the DP plan of this area is yet not in place although being tinkered with from 2017. We expect our respected elected reps #PrachiAlhat, #AtulTarawde, #AnnaBandal, #SwethataiGhule to push hard with the State Government to ensure that the DP plan is approved and realistic action commences. We see statements made by some that #WATER will reach #UndriHilltop soon, but being realistic it's still a long way unless the 4 reps push hard and fast track this project.

Let people not be fooled that it will happen in a jiffy knowing how the system has worked till date. Request @navalMH sir #Pavneetmaam, #NandkishoreJagtap @aniruddhap52303 to please make extra efforts to ensure that we who have been waiting for 20+ years for piped water get the same in our lifetime.

It is also humbly requested that till such plans fructify;

a) a MOROTORIUM on Construction in Undri HILLTOP is put in place.
b) PMC water through Tankers be supplied on a larger scale to this area as we pay Property Taxes year on year.
c) a roadmap be shared with us ASAP as otherwise elected reps get away making impractical commitments to us.
d) Construction going on presently has to use STP water only, which is not being followed as Tanker water needed by Societies gets diverted into construction.

Unless there is a determined bid and commitment from all concerned this area is slipping badly day in and day out. People are furious and may vent their anger sooner or later

We request the media @pulse_pune @punekarnews @ThePuneMirror @toi @IndianExpress @fpjindia @ndtv @IndiaToday @ABPNews @htTweets to give importance to this news where lacs are suffering without basic amenities thanks to the ridiculous approval given for construction based on fake #WATERAFFIDAVITS provided wherein the onus of supplying water has cleverly been shifted on to the poor Tax paying citizens. This area is in a total message and needs governance rather than lip service and petty politics !

Whilst we acknowledge the commitment of #PavneetKaur ji in walking the talk and delivering what was said.

However, the biggest challenge would be to bring piped water to the Hill Top of #Undri as following steps would be necessary;

1. Approved DP plan
2. Survey of the area for creating the pipeline network and location of Storage Tank if Dorabjee Tank is not available or pumping facility cannot be put in place
3. Approval of Budget by PMC and executing the project after tendering

HENCE WE NEED TIMELINES AS TO WHEN THINGS WILL HAPPEN as all including Corporators think us to be fools by committing ridiculous timelines which we know are impractical. This would be your acid test.... failing which people would further be disillusioned. It's NOW OR NEVER!

Come visit #Undri in #Pune—everything has collapsed. Since October 2017, there’s been no Development Plan.

People are surviving on water tankers, paying out of their own pockets just to get by—on top of property taxes. The roads are a mess. Your boss approved a bridge at Kad Nagar that’s now completely stalled.

The day you have no water in your taps, you’ll understand how fragile your so-called “infrastructure” really is—it’ll fall apart like a house of cards.

You’ve taken people for granted for far too long. Enough is Enough!

It would be a great achievement if the target date is adhered to and those where the network is connected get water

There ought to be utmost transparency as people's trust is shaken. I have lived 20+ years in Undri and have been disheartened on various occasions. Yet we continue to live in hope as there is confidence in @navalMH sir #PavneetKaur ji from their actions in ground.

A humble request to PMC to provide a roadmap for delivering piped water to #UndriHilltop keeping all factors in mind like; DP plan approval, Survey and Budget for laying pipeline & creating Storage Tank etc. Surely there would be roadblocks but together we can achieve our goal.

Expectations are high and People are watching....
