The Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission @IEBCKenya, as established under Article 88 of the Constitution, is a cornerstone of Kenya’s democracy.
Its broad mandate, which includes ensuring free, fair, and transparent elections and referenda, is essential for fostering trust, promoting electoral transparency, and upholding democratic governance.
However, the IEBC is currently facing a severe leadership vacuum after the resignation of the "Cherera Four" and the end of tenure for three other Commissioners, including former Chairman @WChebukati.
This absence of leadership has paralyzed the Commission’s ability to conduct critical activities, such as holding by-elections and preparing for the 2027 general elections.
The Constitutional Mandates at Risk include;
1. Boundary Review Delays
Article 89(2) of the Constitution requires the IEBC to review constituency and ward boundaries every 8-12 years. The last review was conducted in March 2012, and the deadline for the next review was March 2024.
Failure to meet this deadline jeopardizes electoral mapping and compliance with constitutional requirements.
2. Election Preparedness
With the 2027 general elections fast approaching, the @IEBCKenya must have sufficient time to prepare, including updating voter rolls, delimiting boundaries, and conducting voter education. This cannot be achieved without a fully constituted and operational Commission.
The ongoing leadership vacuum and associated legal hurdles have created a constitutional crisis. It is concerning that while legislation on other politically significant matters is being expedited, the reconstitution of the IEBC, a critical institution for Kenya’s democracy remains overlooked.
We urge the Chief Justice @CJMarthaKoome and the Supreme Court @THE_SCOK to provide clarity on the advisory opinion and allow the boundary review to proceed. Furthermore, we call upon the relevant authorities to expedite the appointment of new IEBC Commissioners.
The integrity of Kenya’s electoral process and the democratic principles enshrined in our Constitution depend on swift and decisive action.
We must prioritize the reconstitution of the IEBC to safeguard our nation’s democracy.

This are RealTime Fresh images of Macalder mines in Nyatike sub county in Migori a confidant sent me.
Here they dont just mine gold. They are also mining copper. The stones you see in this lorry have copper. This mzungu is the one buying them at 40kes per kg.
As for the gold,he is buying it at 3500kes per gram from locals. The current market value for gold in the global market is 10,362kes per gram.
As I am informed, government officials pass here to collect bribes from the foreign Exploiters then leave. And we both know these mines are untaxed and unlicenced. Locals live hand to mouth from the little pennies they get from mining as these foreigners pocket Billions.
Copper is a very important mineral, every electronic used globally needs copper to work. @HassanAliJoho is in mombasa shooting tiktok videos instead of thinking of how Industries for processing these minerals can be set up.
Setting up Factories means there would be good roads and Employment, good roads means accesibility. Accessibility would lead to other businesses coming up by road side. More employment. And thats how Urbanisation works.
But these foreiners dont want that to happen. Its bad for business. People of migori . Stand up and demand for what the lord blessed you with. Otherwise, maisha itaendelea kuwa ngumu. Na hatuezi hama kenya wote
Okay so this is my thinking. We want to do civic education by helping people understand how elective choices affect their life, how corruption affects the quality of their life and expose lies told to them. What strategy do we use?
Papa Le President De La UfeeSaaDee is not a pushover. This is a dollar billionaire with presidential powers and constitutional immunity from criminal prosecution. He has his systems. Most of these deals are done by companies owned by MPs, Governors etc. This has created small billionaire thieves who hold positions of influence and are dangerously scattered all over the country.
If we take the approach of holding citizen assemblies in every constituency in social halls or any place, his corrupt cartel will organize goons to beat up the attendees and spread fear. Because there is a good chance that your MP or governor who sings praises of Ruto is also corrupt and has acquired illicit wealth through him. Therefore the whole country can easily become unsafe for the vocalists of this movement.
My suggestion is to use the element of surprise. Randomness. As Papa Le President De La UfeeSaaDee does fake development tours we can do civic education tours to mirror his tour. We get citizens of goodwill to meet their own means of travel. We travel as a convoy together. We go and delaunch stalled projects where money has been stolen then we do a random stopover in village market centres. In this stopovers we don't do it like a rally. We do it as a public engagement forum where even residents are given the mic to say what they feel. We can also have creative pieces from our artists to entertain and educate.
The message will be simple. Change how you vote and start demanding for better governance. To get a bigger audience we stream it live and share on all social media. That way they have no way of planning ahead to attack us. You will allow me to be the only one to know which county or village we are going to on any day. Because Papa Le President De La UfeeSaaDee is a master of infiltration. He can place moles in our team.
What do you think
There is so much more that the African Church has taken long to learn and unlearn. For example that a white wedding is someone else's traditional wedding! And much more
The missionaries could not teach the church how to protest against oppression because they were under the protection of colonial power. It was upto the African church to learn protest by itself! I fear the lesson has taken TOO LONG to learn.
@amenya_nelson@KenyaAirports@mohamed_daghar Nelson, this must be your feather in the cap. Stop Adani. There is no way we should give a private entity a 30 yr deal to manage our airport and then 20% stake thereafter. No sane leader can agree to that deal unless they are hiding within Adani and the stake is actually theirs.
Visited a farmer in São Paulo, Brazil to learn about his operations. He has 300 cows & a 400 acre Coffee farm (I’ll show you the farm later)
With the above numbers, he considers himself a small scale farmer 😳
Anyway, he gets an average of 30L per cow, hasn’t gone into value addition yet.
