@GlimpseNigeria @bosuntijani NIPOST may not be there, rather being resuscitated. DHL Germany handed my parcel to them as local partner. Since Sept 30th, my parcel has not been delivered just between Lagos and Port Harcourt.

I have my mail from Germany to Port Harcourt. It has been at Lagos since 30th Sept. Today, Lagos office says it's in PH, PH says they've not received anything from Lagos.
It is sad and putting me and my family under stress. It's a vital doc

@MorrisIke @NafdacAgency Yes, to different ingredients in a soap. But this particular reason for recall is connected to Lilial which is not in connection with skin irritation.
Your skin irritation is most likely due to something else in the soap or it's a counterfeit of it.

@MorrisIke @NafdacAgency I don't think that is even related to the reason for the ban except for rare irritation or outright a fake product. The main issue is the chemical used, Lilial which is likely to be toxic to reproduction and carcinogenic/mutagenic.

@MorrisIke @NafdacAgency That's not even the reason for the EU ban. This reaction can be something else, or a fake product, or mere irritation. There is a chemical called BMCHA which can affect your reproductive system (chemically).

1. Create a reporting system for ingredients in products.
2. Make public approved dossiers/reports database for TESTED chemicals ingredients in ALL NAFDAC-approved products especially made in Nigeria Products.
3. Consult academic reports to inform yourself.

@NafdacAgency I personally raised this issue with ECHA (the European Chemical Agency) and EFSA in September 2024.
I was referred to other Agencies and I'm not sure what action they took.

Good to see NAFDAC coming up to this.
