@Section344Lions@detroitotaku Hammond has said they are going to add a direct link to the stadium from the south shore line. Chicago will have a direct bus line to hegewich (Chicago neighborhood less then a mile a way, a shorter time walk then walking from parking to soldier field imo)
@detroitotaku@Section344Lions The only big difference is Meadowlands has an actual geographical border with the river, Hammond literally only has an imaginary state line separating it. In all aspects this makes even more sense then the Meadowlands
@aaronminnis@sportsrapport@HowieLongShort So your hope is the bears will privately fund a public stadium in which construction is dependent of friends of the park approving or privately funding their own build in Arlington height but having to pay more in property taxes then any other NFL franchise.
@aaronminnis@sportsrapport@HowieLongShort It's not up to the Bears its up to NFL and they are going to go with the best deal because its sets the standard for other franchises so as much as you would think its not happening, unless illinois provides a mirror or better deal, that's where they are going
