Members of UAlberta’s Ahmadiyya Muslims Students’ Association spent their Friday afternoon giving food to the less fortunate in the Edmonton core.
As Islam teaches, worship of God is incomplete without service to humanity.

Centenary of the Fazl Mosque: A Testament to Sacrifice, Faith, and Divine Assistance 🕌
During the Friday Sermon, Hazrat Mirza Masroor Ahmad (aba) mentioned the historic importance of the Fazl Mosque, the first mosque built in the heart of London, within a Christian community.
The Promised Messiah (as) envisioned the spread of Islam in the West. His vision of delivering a sermon in London and catching white birds, which he interpreted as a sign that many righteous people from the West would accept and embrace Islam.
Towards the end, His Holiness (aba) prayed that we become true adherents of Islam, fulfilling the vision of the Promised Messiah (as) by upholding the rights of worship and promoting peace and harmony in the world.
Celebrating 100 Years of Fazl Mosque Today, we have gathered here to mark the 100 years for the Fazl Mosque with profound gratitude in our hearts to celebrate the foundation stone. (Fazl Mosque Centenary Address 2024) #MTAi
A journalist once asked Hadhrat Choudhry Sir Muhammad Zafrulla Khan sahib during an interview:
“Choudhry Sahib! You have achieved countless successes in your life. What do you think was the greatest blessing of your life?”
He promptly replied:
“The greatest good fortune of my life is that I recognised the Imam of the Age, Hazrat Mirza Ghulam Ahmad Qadiani, the Promised Messiah and Imam Mahdi and performed Bai’at at his hands.”

LATEST: Prayers for plight of Muslim Ummah, Palestinians, and Ahmadis of Bangladesh & Pakistan 🤲🏼
During his Friday Sermon, delivered on 16 August 2024, Hazrat Mirza Masroor Ahmad, Khalifatul Masih V (aa) said:
“Today, once again, I wish to remind you about prayer; pray for the Ahmadis in Bangladesh. May Allah the Almighty speedily improve their circumstances. Pray for the Ahmadis in Pakistan as well. May Allah the Almighty improve their circumstances too. Pray also for the oppressed in Palestine; may Allah the Almighty have mercy on their condition. Pray for Muslim countries too, that Allah the Almighty may grant wisdom to their leaders, so they become those who fulfil the rights of the people, not those who oppress, because it is due to their oppression that enemies are emboldened to continue oppressing Muslims, as they know ‘these people are not fulfilling [their own people’s] rights themselves, so how can they demand rights from us?’ May Allah the Almighty have mercy on the Muslim ummah.” [Amin]

Kababir is an Arab village located on one of the peaks of Mount Carmel. The people of Kababir were the first to believe in الدعوة (the call). In 1931, they built the first mosque, Sayyidna Mahmoud Mosque.
I lived and grew up in Kababir, in a family dedicated to Khilafat. I was also raised with the family of missionary Abu Al-Ataa Hamid Kawthar of Qadian, the tenth missionary to arrive in Kababir.
My attachment to Khilafat has been since childhood, but I still strive to follow the instructions of His Holiness (aba). Watching the Friday sermons and participating in all the group's activities are among our top priorities.
This is how we build a strong relationship with Khilafat!
This is my first time attending Jalsa Canada. It has been an enriching experience that I will cherish for a long time. May Allah bless the efforts and hard work of all the volunteers and everyone who made this weekend a success. Āmeen!"
