What goal are you focusing on this month?
Short Term Pain, Long Term Gain
When I first started working as a doctor, I lived off 15% of my salary. It helped that I had no family to look after.
While my friends drove cars and rented great apartments, I lived way below my means.
Saved up most of the money (About USD 3000) and used it to invest into my first business.
It started off slowly but later picked up.
Even then, I never took money out of the business, always reinvested.
5 years later, that business is over 10 times it's original size.
Right now, I can spend as I wish, but I still choose not to. Maybe it's being selfish...but I still dream of having great businesses, making $1M a month...
My pain now certainly isn't as it was when I just started, but pain is the main driver to greatness.
Pain is good, embrace it, use it.
Men,
Lesson 7
If you are a firstborn,
Your work is heavy.
Your siblings are looking up to you,
Your ageing parents are also looking up to you.
Do not be reckless, disorganized & directionless.
Do not be the one stressing your parents and siblings.
