This guy is an idiot. Per the American Heart Association, first put pressure on the wound and try to control bleeding, once the patient loses a pulse you immediately began CPR. If compressions are performed to absolute perfection, the best case scenario, you get 30% cardiac output meaning they are not going to be spilling blood everywhere especially if sufficient pressure is being held by a second person. Patients without a heartbeat do not bleed out. I’m a nurse practitioner with years of burn and trauma experience. They should not have moved the patient, especially considering they were hidden behind the table. By moving Charlie like a sack of potatoes, they further compromise his c-spine and failed to provide basic life-saving measures. At the very least, they likely could’ve used his organs to save other lives. These people are diabolical.

It isn’t up to you or anyone in the field to identify the cause of their injuries to find out if someone is worth saving or not. It doesn’t matter the cause what matters is that his heart was not beating and zero life preservation measures were taken. Finding the “why” is is up to the trauma surgeon at the hospital and if for some reason he/she is not successful, it is ultimately up to the medical examiner.
