Today October 30 2024 marks the first board meeting of the $50 million WTO-ITC Women Exporters in the Digital Economy ( WEIDE) Fund! Great occasion to preside over with my Co-Chair @ITCnews Executive Director @CokeHamilton. Many thanks to Board member Ambassador Abdelsalam Al-Ali @AlAliUAE5 and the UAE Government for their sterling support. And gratitude to our hardworking staff that made this happen in particular Technical Committee Co-Chairs @NicoleNMensa and @JudithFessehaie. We are off to a good start supporting women to scale up their digital trading activities and join regional and global value chains!
