@DasguptaMrs @DavisonMiss @pdLouiseP @OUPPrimary Another great idea to try. I use a factor bug or plant but I like how the idea of a sandwich links to the use of the manipulatives. I imagine this could work with layering cuisenaire in the same way 🤔

We rolled 6 different types of dice and then I asked if the dice on the otherside were worth double what would the total of the dice under the cloth be?
- It took perseverance
- It drew attention to connections in mathematics knowledge
- It was fun
