Day 14 #100DaysOfCode
✅️ practiced creating classes, setting properties, and calling methods in Java
✅️ learned/ practiced some shortcuts & hotkeys in IntelliJ IDE
✅️ studied iteration statements (while, do/while, for)

I'm back baby! Day 13 #100DaysOfCode:
✅️practiced git bash commands for compiling and executing a simple Java program
✅️completed "Hello World" section of Java course on codecademy
✅️practiced creating Java classes and defining methods
✅️explored the IntelliJ IDE

Needed a breather from #100DaysOfCode for a couple days. Time management & working hard without burning myself out are 2 big goals I have during this 100 day commitment. Now that I've taken the time to take care of myself, I'll be back w more updates this weekend! 💪

✅️made blog post w responsive gif img, read more/read less btns, an accordion, & lots of links
✅️experimented w a css hover animation (unsuccessfully)
✅️learned how to revert to an earlier commit from the GitHub desktop app

Day 11 #100DaysOfCode HTML/CSS day!!
✅️played w the box model, flex boxes, & responsive design
✅️played w toggleable tab menu on June gloom website
✅️started building a blog from scratch - header, nav bar, cards for each post, 2 column layout using float property

Day 10 #100DaysOfCode
✅️practiced git cmds, set up remote repo on github from terminal
✅️started adding toggleable menu to web page w html, css, & js and experimented w css layout rules
✅️played w #sonicpi - focus on loops, samples, & randomization to make weird bell loop

✅️ finished image getter w unsplash API tie in
✅️ read more Modern JS tutorial - comparisons & conditional branching (if, '?')
✅️ practiced git bash terminal commands w emphasis on creating/ merging branches & push/pull to/from remote repos

Day 8 #100DaysOfCode
✅️ worked on image getter project (stuck on unsplash api authentication)
✅️ reviewed fetch() & then() methods (which took me down a "promises" and "asynchronous calculations" rabbit hole
✅️ read Modern Js Tutorial chptrs on type conversions & operators

✅️ studied the Modern JavaScript Tutorial (focus on coding structure)
✅️ practiced writing functions, returns, function expressions, & arrow functions
✅️ started building an image search where user input pulls a pic from unsplash API & displays on page

Day 6 #100DaysOfCode
✅️ reviewed concepts including the DOM, event Listeners, APIs, & directories
✅️ practiced git bash terminal commands, using the terminal to navigate directories, create & commit branches to remote repos

@samaaron @Sonic_Pi I don't even remember how I stumbled across sonic pi, but I started making music w it about 2 years ago, took a little break, and now I'm getting back into it!

Day 5 #100DaysOfCode
✅️ reviewed the @Sonic_Pi tutorial to get ready to add live coding into my music performance repertoire
✅️ finished making a gif finder using Tenor Gif's API
✅️ reviewed basic JS concepts covered in apprenticeship program

✅️ did a deep dive on REST APIs
✅️ made a button that when clicked makes a random Kanye West quote display on the page, sourced from the kanye rest API
✅️ made progress on vacation destination form/ card - just have some styling issues to tidy up

✅️ wrote js program to tell day, date, & time & display it on an HTML doc
✅️ kept working on program where user input on form populates a card
✅️ did a deep dive on CSS flex boxes
