In 2012, I was involved in a car accident along BUK/Gwarzo Road, back when it was a single lane. Tragically, this happened just a week after I had purchased the car for 2.7 million naira—my hard-earned savings from two years of diligent work. The accident caused extensive damage, and I was forced to sell the car for only 1.2 million naira.😭
With the funds significantly reduced and unable to buy a replacement car of my choice or secure additional financing, a trusted friend suggested that I try Bitcoin. At that time, the dollar exchange rate was only 155.5 naira to one USD, which meant I had around $7,700 after conversion. I used that amount to buy approximately 1,500 BTC at the price of only $5 per Bitcoin. This turned out to be the best financial decision I have ever made in this life.
By the end of 2012, Bitcoin's value had already surged to around $13 per BTC. When the stablecoin Tether (USDT) was launched in July 2014, I was pursuing my master’s degree in India, and Bitcoin had skyrocketed to about $770. It was at that point I truly realized the magnitude of my fortune—I knew God is planing something big at this end. I continued to stake and reinvest in Bitcoin with every available resource I had. This remains my crowning moment.
Today, the value of a single Bitcoin exceeds $90,000, with projections heading towards $100,000 and beyond.
The same, applies to real estate. In 2014, I purchased a piece of land in T/yola kano for only 5million naira. Today, that same land is valued at over 90 million naira. If you can’t buy crypto buy land.
In this life, and though I cannot speak for the next, land and cryptocurrency have proven to be the most reliable stores of value. They have the extraordinary power as they keep enriching us even while we sleep and slumber.
Take a step and act now—the time to make your move is today.
