I love when filmmakers challenge themselves to showcase Black stories in unique ways. Greek mythology meets neighborhood storytelling.
and not the trailer making me emo lol.
being single is funny lol. yesterday you felt the urge to love and be loved, today you want nothing to do with all that shit, tomorrow you horny as fuck, the next you feel disgusted by the thought of being intimate.
Mind you the media originally told you it was Karmelo who wasn’t suppose to be at the track meet and that he was suspended. They pushed lies and false narratives and yall still don’t see it. I wish the trial was live streamed so yall could see it.
why won’t y’all just stop having kids? 😭😭😭😭😭😭 y’all don’t want to talk to them, read with them, listen to them, play with them, or even BATHE them. parenthood is not by force
Fork found in kitchen free Karmelo he did nothing wrong. He defended himself against white supremacist Neo Nazi terrorism I find it purposeful that this was kept out of the first trial.
Nolan Wells should be 19 today.
He should be blowing out candles, laughing with his family, making plans and stepping into another year of a life that was still unfolding. Instead, his family is celebrating his memory while continuing to fight for answers about what happened to their son.
His mother, Christine Wonsley, shared in her own birthday tribute:
“Although you are no longer physically here with us, we will always celebrate you and the legacy you have left for us to protect. You have taught us so much about life and how everyday is a blessing and how we have to do better at just living in the moment.”
So, today we celebrate Nolan. But celebration cannot replace justice.
Black boys deserve to grow old. Families deserve answers. And Nolan deserves the truth.
Happy heavenly 19th birthday, Nolan Xavier Wells.
