@Neo_jng@cowrywise Laughs. You no dey survive before you get the 1.4 Billion? I no understand you. No touch am at all till after 30 days. Wetin make hunger no kpai you before you see the bar go still make you survive.
@NOnwuanaibe@Hammdriller@FinPlanKaluAja1 A diiferent approach would have been to decentralised development approach that allows local governments to develop their own water projects.
@FinPlanKaluAja1@daisy_ogeh Not arguing the facts that there were no 9verhead tanks back then. Just saying that n9w that the water no longer runs through the pipes, it is cheaper to put the tanks above than have them below and pressure pump water upward. And yes I agree we need to fix our infrastructure.
The Haya people of Tanzania were producing carbon steel in the year 100 AD, nearly 1,900 years before the process was independently developed in Europe. Their furnaces reached 1,800 degrees Celsius using preheated forced-draft technology that European metallurgists did not achieve until the Industrial Revolution. When anthropologists arrived to study it in the 1970s, the knowledge only survived because a few elderly men still remembered it. Cheap European steel had already put the Haya out of business decades earlier.
Africa did not need to be taught how to build. It needed to be left alone.
One day, Peter Lifu sits as judge of @FederalHigh to order @inecnigeria to de-register @ADCNig.
The next day, he presumes to sit again as a judge to adjudicate over the leadership of a party he says does not exist?
It is not that he lacks the capacity to see that there is a problem. It is that it shd now be quite evident that Peter Lifu no longer has the capacity to function as a judge. He is a #LowBudget hatchet man wearing a full-bottomed wig.

Dear foreigners, 🇬🇭
If you see Ghanaians singing, dancing, and making noise today, don’t be confused. That’s Jama.
It’s more than just a song or celebration; it’s a culture that runs through our schools, workplaces, communities, and even football. Wherever Ghanaians gather, Jama brings us together.
This is the spirit we carry as we support the Black Stars. 🇬🇭
@NOnwuanaibe@Hammdriller@FinPlanKaluAja1 You're right. However, she is also right. Just as there was running water in cities, there were also millions in rural communities who had no running water, fetched dirty water feom streams, trekked to school etc. Besides the water was on and off like NEPA back then
@AdenikeAwe1@Hammdriller@FinPlanKaluAja1 Not lies. There have always been more poor and impoverished people than middle income/rich people in Nigeria. There has always been suffering among the majority of Nigerians. Everything happening today is a repetition of a previous cycle. It is a programme
I SUMMARIZED THIS EXCHANGE
🇿🇦: We are against illegals in SA
🇳🇬: But I am not illegal
🇿🇦: We don’t want foreigners who take our jobs
🇳🇬: I created jobs for South Africans
🇿🇦: We just want you to leave our country even if you created jobs & are documented
🇳🇬: No problem, pay what I invested, I will leave
🇿🇦: We will see you on June 30th
NOTE: That business might get destroyed & the owner killed if this issue is not handled swiftly.
@FinPlanKaluAja1@daisy_ogeh And I presumed the pipes will draw the water from underground or ground level tanks using pressure pumps right? Well I guess they would not want to waste money on unavailable and expensive power when they can just make use of gravity that is free.
@ikhide Playwright? Most of these short skits are off the head. I have a couple of ideas I shared with some friends and they all roared with laughter. Laugh wan wound them. Many Nigerians are effortlessly funny.
It was definitely her idea not to entertain family for more than a week. If it was his own parent that died and his siblings needed a home to stay, the rule may not be revoked.
Rules like this is a blatant red flag. Only evil people make those rules. The silent part of the rule is usually "your family."
