Our representative (MOCRS) from the Mayor’s office is on the scene and will be sending me updates soon. The scene is spread out across 14th and on V St in between 14th and 15th St NW.

I’m out at the scene at 14th and U. There were 4 people who were shot — 1 MPD officer and 2 others with NLT injuries and 1 person with LT. It happened at 14th and U after Moechella. Roads are blocked on Florida and S on 14th St and U St between 15th and 13th St NW.

There was a shooting on 14th St (2100 block) at the intersection of 14th and V St NW around 11:15pm. No victims at this time. Will post more information as I receive it.

This happened around 9:45pm and the victim suffered NLT injuries. There were around 50 shots fired.

There was a shooting that took place on 2000 block of 14th St. I came outside as they were taking the victim away. The victim appeared to be conscious and I will pass along more information as I receive it.

From what I know, this incident at 14th and V St may be connected with the two victims found at 15th and U St at the Sunoco. The victims were found with NLT injuries.

I am still trying to learn more about what happened and will share what I find out. I heard what sounded like gunfire around 14th / U, but it wasn’t clear. Please stay safe everyone.
