@REV_Insulin_Res That's a big deal. Congratulations. It's a read psychological milestone to have that confirnation of 24.9. And physical too, of course.
@m_goes_distance@davidasinclair Naion usually strikes in one eye, and usually it does not cause total blindness in that eye , part of the optic nerve is affected. Not minimalizing it, just that I don't believe saying GLP-1s cause "sudden blindness" without qualifying the word blindness is scientific.
@GOLDBABYO@Mario_Sneh@GOLDBABYO All I can say is that I don't think you've ever had to make the choice. Heart-felt good wishes when you do. Maybe the day you realize your Mom can't remember if she took her meds so takes 3 days worth at a time.
@SimonBiohacker@theproof@reallyoptimized You said the same thing yesterday re Dave et al being 1st Amendment haters. Just to point out that posts on social media are not protected by the 1st. A. Not on X, FB, etc. Privately owned.
1st A applies to governmental persecutipn/ prosecution against your words.
@sousi_brown@WilliamWallace Lol agreed. Long posts on how to eat ultra processed wheat. It's not easy to find whole wheat sourdough. The germ tends towards rancidity and the bran interferes with the rising. If wheat is the goal, eat cooked whole wheat. If a shovel is needed for food, use a fork.
@WilliamWallace Or eat something that isn't made of white flour to begin with, as is nearly all of commercial fermented sourdough bread. The post is well founded, but the graph is very misleading, and wrong. Also, they show fermented sourdough as being a darker product.
@WilliamWallace No it didn't lower blood sugar, as the graph is mis-titled. It caused a lesser rise than did the non-fermented type. But, eating the real sourdough bread did cause a rise in blood sugar.
