When Roe was overturned and women bled out in ERs, we heard “states’ rights. When guns became the #1 killer of kids, still “states’ rights.” But one protest against injustice? Suddenly there’s federal boots on the ground. They don’t panic when people die, only when they speak.
The "electric cars are not it, trains are the way" crowd is great...I love it.
But I also see a smattering of "Fuck Joe Biden" in it. Like, "Why is the president pushing for electric cars and not trains?!?!" and, I dunno, y'all. Have you considered the 100 trillion dollars of car-necessary infrastructure we have built in the US? We built the ideology into every dollar we spent for the last 100 years. It's built into the landscape, it's built into people's brains.
"You shouldn't have a car" is a good position to have if you want to get in fights on Twitter with the 90% of American adults who cannot imagine life without a car. That's not their fault, we built the cities this way, and they aren't going to get unbuilt.
We need to get off fossil fuels /now/. If your first step is "we must convince America to abandon suburbs... through force if necessary" the outcomes will be worse.
How is it that everybody from my hometown is married with kids but nobody from my college is married with kids. This math doesn’t add up to me. Bc the people from my hometown also went to college. So explain how this is happening
This video can never be retweeted enough number of times.
Every American needs to watch this and ask themselves one simple question.
“Is this the world we want to live in?”

These are some of the text messages sent and received by University of North Carolina students during the Monday lockdown triggered by the shooting death of a teacher on campus.
I do not and will not ever understand people who get in line at the gate at airports before they even start boarding and also the people that stand up immediately when the plane lands. Like sit your ass down and wait your turn PLEASE
Honestly impressive how the organizing principle of right-wing outrage went from 'let's complain about cancel culture' to 'let's cancel everything' and no one on the right even batted an eye
Congratulations to anyone filming themselves at a Target while stomping on rainbows & screaming obscenities at mannequins who can’t and won’t ever scream back.
You look exactly like the hateful, ignorant fucking asshole everyone who has ever met you already knows you to be. 👍🏻
I was a young man when the Central Park 5 were convicted, not much older than the five young men who were wrongly convicted of the heinous attack on a jogger.
trump took out a full page ad in four newspapers, stating those boys should be given the death penalty.
They were exonerated by DNA and a confession by the man who was solely responsible in 2002, after most of them had already lost at least 7 years of their lives in prison.
In 2019, trump would not walk back his position, he STILL believed they were guilty.
Now, trump will likely be arraigned in the same building that the Central Park Five were. Dr. Yusef Salaam, one of the members of that group of exonerated men, issued a one word statement about the indictment:
"Karma."
Cards Against Humanity is donating 100% of their profits to the National Network of Abortion Funds if the order comes from a state restricting abortion access.
If someone selects “I didn’t agree to this” an additional $5 donation is added to their cart. 😂
