@guyrleech@Synology@xenserver Any chance that the password contains a „#“ which could be misinterpreted as a comment? Hit this error once while using NetScaler with encrypted PEM certs.

Can’t find a sample config right now. But let me know if you need one. It’s mostly configuring IP for 2 NICs and a simple NAT configuration.
@awakecoding I normally setup a separate Open Source based Vyos Router VM with 2 interfaces (internal/external) and provide NAT by this VM. It may be a very small VM and it works pretty well for normal lab work. Nightly ISO builds are available without subscription or compiled by your own.
@the_incoronated @ianlpaterson@cioontherun@Broadcom@VMware Yes you can integrate ESXi, but Nutanix also comes with AHV, Acropolis Hypervisor, which is essentially KVM, which is open source based.
@vcbawue@eckerle_m@VCRMN_DE Ich wünsche euch viel Spaß. Nach Karlsruhe schaffe ich es heute leider nicht. Vielleicht aber ein anderes Mal. Sieht ja echt gemütlich aus.
@guyrleech@BoreanJordan@citrix Old 2012 R2 tries to use TLS1.0 by default afaik. You can force version 1.2 by using the following before using iwr on a 2012R2 OS: [Net.ServicePointManager]::SecurityProtocol = [Net.SecurityProtocolType]::Tls12
@vdNieuwenhofEU I just tested this and I think this is a good solution. So the customer can atleast connect to the main RDS collection. Let’s see how this fits in the end. That’s again for the hint.
Can anyone help? How do I configure @Sysinternals RDCMan to connect to a RDS brokered collection? Specifying Load balance config with details from .rdp file doesn't help and leads to disconnection reason 1040. Similar disconnects in mRemoteNG.
@awakecoding I just tested it and it works without a flaw. So I‘m going to recommend it to the customer now as an alternative solution. Thanks for your help.
@awakecoding Thanks for your response. Very interesting. LB String is just tsv://MS Terminal Services Plugin.1.Desktop and the FQDN of the farm is 20 chars long. Not too long in my opinion. In mRemoteNG I can configure to use UTF8 when sending LB string. But this doesn’t make any difference.
Broker eventlog shows Event 802: RD Connection Broker failed to process the connection request for user DOM\User. Farm name specified in user's RDP file (hints) could not be found.
Error: The farm specified for the connection is not present.
@EdijsPerkums Good point. Did not test this with Explorer although it’s an obvious test. I just needed an application to work correctly and tested it by creating a file using cmd.exe and opening it with notepad, as well.
TIL: Overlong path names (>259) aren’t a problem anymore if you enable this feature in Win32 file and directory functions by just setting a registry key. This exists since Windows 10 Version 1607. https://t.co/msW4vxFjxb
@SoVeryBritish Last time in an UK roundabout (as a German) I was just called an Asshole … while sitting on the right. In a german car with the steering wheel on the left. What am I supposed to do in such situation 😅
