Yesterday’s Remembrance service in Brixton honoured those who served, with a focus on African and Caribbean men and women in both World Wars.

Over 17 million service personnel served in both World Wars, with an estimated two million drawn from Africa and the Caribbean, yet their sacrifice has often been overlooked.
