.@CapMetroATX’s Erika Mazza representing us well moderating a panel about workforce development. Working in #transit is a career - not just a job. The whole industry needs to have these conversations & be creative about how we recruit, train & retain workforce. Great job Erika!
@MikeMcCurdy@Isaac_W_Thorne@Ryan_ILFB Gotta love the low rider styling - even if it does make all transit nerds think the air bags have failed and it needs a road call. 😂
We had an amazing time last week celebrating some of Keolis's finest on #TransitDriverAppreciationDay. As a thank you for all they do, our drivers enjoyed games, raffles, and all you can eat tacos! It was a wonderful and much deserved celebration. We love our drivers!
I ran into my favorite customer, Mama Nozipo. I first met her 15 years ago on a bus when I rang to get off and she told the driver to take me to the next stop so I could see a broken bench. I did and we’ve been friends ever since, her helping me see through the customer’s eyes.
We need public transit to ensure COVID-19 recovery is accessible and equitable. Transit provides mobility options that support our communities and drive economic growth. Tell your senators to keep us moving past COVID-19: https://t.co/1UlheR2JFp

The CARES Act provided much-needed relief to keep transit running. But transit agencies are not out of the woods and neither are the essential workers who depend on transit. We need an American Rescue Plan, and we need it now.
Thank you Nuria Fernandez for serving since 2019 as our APTA Chair and for the decades you’ve already committed to advancing public #transit at @vta, @wmata, @cta, @MTA, and @FTA_DOT! We look forward to working with you at @usdot
