We're publishing our most detailed threat intelligence report to date.

It covers how people tried to misuse Claude—for cyberattacks, influence operations, surveillance, biology, and building weapons—and how we found and stopped them.

We disrupted every operation in the report, and used the lessons from them to strengthen our safeguards. Where appropriate, we also shared what we found with authorities and other AI companies.

These cases are not typical: we’re highlighting some of the most sophisticated misuse we’ve seen. But they’re especially important to discuss, because they show us where AI misuse is headed, where our safeguards work, and where they need to improve.

We’re publishing this report so others can spot the same activity on their own platforms, and so we can give the public a clearer view of how emerging threats develop.

A helpful way of contextualising what happened to PH in yesterday's N9 election.

We need to use GE-15 (Nov 2022) as a comparison, using saluran data to get the implied DUN result. This is because in 2023, PH and BN split the 36 seats between them, so PH only contested 19.

What's the conclusion:
• In 30 out of 36 seats, PH's vote share dropped. And if you look at the chart, there were some huge double-digit drops in places like Seremban Jaya, Lukut, and Sri Tanjung where PH performed well in GE-15.
• In 6 out of 36 seats, PH's vote share rose, all by small margins.

Interestingly, both the 'giants' who lost yesterday (Anthony Loke in Chennah, Tok Min in Linggi) both *increased* PH's vote share compared to 2022. But it was not enough, since on the other side, BN/PN were consolidated.

Overall, this chart should be a HUGE concern for PH. You can only argue that "We maintained, but BN/PN came together" if you maintain or increase your vote share in every seat (like Loke and Tok Min).

This chart shows the exact opposite - almost everywhere, PH has lost ground.

25% of Malays in urban areas voted for you but you were more interested in Kelantan and Kedah.

Johor Election day:
• 139k views
• 2.8 million API hits (for context, Malaysia's national open API provided by https://t.co/lUoJYHVIGG has only ever done a maximum of 1.1 mil in a single day)
• All pages + APIs + data lake files updated as official results were announced
• 0 downtime
• 0 loss of API performance (in fact, latency actually went down due to more endpoints being cached hahahaha)

All-in-all, I think safe to say.....ElectionDataMY's first election day/night was a success.

I'll go through all the logs in detail, and if everything checks out as I expect it to, I think it's ready to come out of BETA mode for the upcoming N9 election!

Regardless of what RR intended, no PH leader/supporter should be calling BERSAMA a 'spoiler' or blaming BERSAMA for the beating PH got yesterday - it's simply not supported by the final results.

Definition of 'spoiler':
1) PH lost the seat to BN
2) Votes won by BERSAMA > the margin of victory for BN

BERSAMA contested 15 seats. There are only 2 seats which meet this criteria:
- N.46 Perling
- N.51 Bukit Batu

In the 9 other seats which PH lost (which BERSAMA contested), PH's loss can't be 'blamed' on BERSAMA (not that I even agree with this idea of 'blame' in a democratic election anyway).

KEPUTUSAN PRN JOHOR 2026

Terima kasih kepada pengundi-pengundi Johor yang menunaikan tanggungjawab hari ini.

Walaupun keputusan rasmi belum diumumkan bagi semua kerusi, Bilik Kempen BERSAMA telah mendapat sebahagian dari Borang 14 di saluran-saluran 15 kerusi yang kami bertanding.

Ada juga kerusi-kerusi yang keputusan tidak rasmi telah dilaporkan oleh media.

Maklumat setakat ini menunjukkan calon-calon BERSAMA mendapat secara purata antara 3-6% undi.

Ini bermakna kesemua calon BERSAMA hilang deposit kerana tidak mendapat undi minimum 12.5%.

Ia juga tidak melepasi sasaran untuk tidak hilang deposit dan mencapai 15% undi.

Analisa awal menunjukkan ada peralihan undi yang ketara kepada BN dari semua segmen pengundi mengikut umur dan kaum.

Semua calon dari parti-parti lain, baik PH, PN, BERSAMA atau MUDA terkesan dengan peralihan undi ini.

Di pihak BERSAMA, kami akan memperhalusi keputusan pengundian untuk menambahbaik pendekatan dalam memenangi hati pengundi di masa hadapan.

Saya ingin mengucapkan terima kasih kepada semua pengundi yang memberi kepercayaan kepada calon-calon BERSAMA dalam usia parti ini yang begitu muda.

Penghargaan tertinggi adalah kepada calon-calon, ahli-ahli, sukarelawan dan penyokong BERSAMA yang setia membantu kempen PRN Johor 2026.

1500 (3pm) update:

We are officially past the SE-15 overall turnout of 54.9%, so that's good I suppose.

3pm turnout is at 56.8%, relative to 46% during SE-15 (Mar 2022) and 66% during GE-15 (Nov 2022).

The ~65% forecast has not moved for a while now - I reckon the final number will be about there.

There will be one more update at 4pm, then SPR typically don't release anything more till the final results. Although they've been operating very weirdly today, so who knows.

There are 5 types of datasets available:
• Parlimen/DUN-level results (the 'official' results, covering every single election since 1955)
• Parlimen/DUN-level maps (covering every single boundary-drawing exercise since 1954)
• Anonymised individual-level voter rolls for GE-13, GE-14, and GE-15, as well as Johor 2022 and N9 2023 (more to come soon)
• Saluran (!!!!) level results for GE-13, GE-14, and GE-15, as well as Johor 2022 and N9 2023 (also more to come soon)
• DM-level maps for the latest set (versions going back to 2003 will follow eventually)
