@davidhoang@philletourneau VCF West is coming up, and their swap meet is great. https://t.co/1YCspkwCwx
Also the Silicon Valley Swap Meet, although I’m less experienced with that one https://t.co/A5bqyfqw8w
Urban Ore or your favorite thrift store will sometimes have stuff, but eBay is the most reliable.
I am obsessed with this window sticker they put on Saabs in the 60s.
I vectorized the artwork and now I kinda wanna make t-shirts. :) @SaabPlanet https://t.co/XWOXG2wwLg
@ThePiloseOne@WysWyg_Protogen Fair enough! Assuming they were recreations, I was pretty impressed with the aged-looking colors. I'll take my typographic issues up with @ibmdesign ;)
Wrote a deep dive into one of my favorite vintage Macs, the Macintosh Classic! A first shot at showing off my collection! https://t.co/Gu9UZfngQE #marchintosh
@ikeadrift Yeah I use groups for things I don’t care about (like stitched together screenshots) and to get the frame name to go away, but both of those are pretty niche. Frame Nation!
@Jeroen_Ransijn@chanpory Begs the question — @chanpory which layer in our component library do you most want named after you? I’d be the list of options in an open drop-down menu myself.
@chanpory@davidhoang Semi-Charmed Life by Third Eye Blind is also up there - it wasn’t until I tried to sing it at karaoke years later that I realized it’s about doing a lot of hard drugs and then having sex. 1997 was a dirty year!
@tareqismail@ikeadrift Slack actually used to do this (without the visual feedback) if you did “s/oldword/newword” (which I assume is an IRC thing). It was a nice feature!
Guys, GPT-3 has no imagination. I told it about our stuffed animals and asked who we might add to the team — they suggested Ella the Elephant.
Then I asked what Ella's job or favorite clothing accessory might be, and GPT-3 told me stuffed animals aren't real.
