@dpoddolphinpro Man SpaceXAI is dumb as hell. I mean I get it since everything IPOed under SpaceX but from a branding pov X or xAI being the parent and the rest under makes so much more sense. Plus now the once clean and cool xAI branding just sounds like the XboxSeriesX of space.
@naiivememe@elonmusk Totally agree. I love my Heavy subscription and at $100 I’d keep it no problem. The issue is at $300 I have to justify spending triple the amount of Claude Max per month. That’s a brutal pill to swallow.
@madoron350_unpo@JzBTC4 Right? I really didn’t want to but a mix between local and Gemini is what I’m going to be reduced to. I can no longer justify Grok after my heavy promo ends next month.
@MarsVibeFan@xai@elonmusk Weekly limits are common. The issue is how much less we get in return for the $300 /month for heavy. If I wanted to use the level of thinking I did while using build, I’m pretty much paying more than if I got the $100 Claude Max plan and a few credits like I did before.
@GoodmanAric@Sophia176377959 Right, I’m the same way. But at the end of the day the principle remains where everything that had separate quotas (voice, imagine, chat, build, etc) now shares the same pool and in a way that you cannot receive the same amount as you had before for all services.
@GoodmanAric@Sophia176377959 It’s substantially lower now is the point. When all services use the same pool of allowance you have to prioritize what you want more. That means me skipping imagine if I want to use expert thinking and build as frequently as I did before.
@nitzukai Think maybe the blame should shift to hardware manufacturers shifting focus to them and not increasing production so they can create artificial scarcity and increase prices by triple what they were?
@HardwareSteam Good. It’s important to let people know going in what they can realistically expect. While many games can nail 4K 60, letting people assume that’s the standard was a pretty bad move.
@thebalkanlord@Lucky_ChannelAK Doesn’t really matter when you consider the amount of games that released well before SSDs became standard are perfect for this and free up space for the ones that need the SSD.
@nukesforretards@MericBaglayan@yellow_apple11@VideoCardz Are you suggesting the answer to getting the benefits of the the steam machine is to spend $500 more without a controller when the common complaint is that the steam machine is already too expensive? This kind of proves the point of the value it provides even at current price.
