@RaineDoc Thank you for the effort! I wish I had resources in IT to offer for help. It’s been such a resource for me early in my career I still would love to help if there’s somehow you think a random stranger could be of benefit
Throwback to 5 years ago when Tony Fauci, at 74 yo, was suiting up to treat an Ebola patient himself because he "wanted to show his staff that he wouldn't ask them to do anything he wouldn't do himself". This is what leadership looks like. https://t.co/QctW672ykC
Number of days since Fauci announced data that remdesivir shortened hospital stay a bit: 16.
Number of days it took for the FDA to grant emergency authorization: 2.
Number of words the authors of said study have published for experts to review and scrutinize since: 0.
@leesh_87 kept a data log of our work (codes, meds given, consults, medrecs, drug info, etc) + compared our staffing and ER volumes to surrounding hospitals + support from nursing/MDs + specific examples justifying our presense + lit review detailing ED pharmd benefits
@emlitofnote Any sense of when these could start to become availble? IMO antibody testing more promising in the near term vs any tx or vaccine to allow both a slow restart of the economy and improve pt care. Assuming at least short term immunity and big ? of testing supply
@EDPharmDRoy @kellymurrayosu What what your outcome David? We are going through similar shenanigans. Were able to get two cases in beforehand but haven’t been able to get more
@complexfive@DEZ_EM_Pharm @ASHP_EMPharm @accpemedprn Exactly the same situation here. Always pressure for us to mix at bedside but our order to delivery times are so short there’s little room for improvement
Any ED pharmacists taken this ASHP EM certificate course? Useful or too basic for someone who has already been working in the ED? https://t.co/hzmbSBZLvT
