Rains comming, Roads will go under water bcos PMC sanitary inspectors DID NOT enforce door to door garbage collection, so plastics choke gutters.

Subject: Complaint Regarding Drainage Water Flowing on Road
Respected Sir,
With due respect, I would like to bring to your attention that drainage water is continuously flowing on the road in our area. This has created an unhygienic situation and is causing serious health and safety issues for the residents, especially children and senior citizens.
The foul smell, mosquito breeding, and waterlogging are leading to hygiene problems and increasing the risk of waterborne diseases. Such conditions are unacceptable for the residents who are regularly paying property tax but not receiving basic civic amenities.
I also wish to know whether your department intends to take any strict action against the societies or establishments responsible for releasing untreated drainage water onto the roads. Due to their negligence, the entire neighborhood is suffering.
We sincerely request you to look into this matter at the earliest and take necessary action to stop the drainage water from flowing on the roads. Immediate intervention will help prevent further health hazards and restore cleanliness in our locality.
We look forward to your urgent action and positive response.
Thanking You,
Yours faithfully,

To,
Shri Lokeshji Chandra
Chairman and Director, Maharashtra State Electricity Distribution Company Limited (MSEDCL),
Wagholi Division, Pune.
Subject: Complaint regarding electricity services in the Wagholi Division.
Respected Sir,
This is to bring to your kind attention that residents of the Wagholi division have been facing several serious issues related to electricity services over the past few days. These problems have severely disrupted daily life and caused widespread dissatisfaction and frustration among citizens. We are listing our concerns below:
*Frequent Power Outages:* Electricity supply is being interrupted multiple times a day, causing disruptions to daily routines, student studies, and business activities.
*Irregularities in Electricity Bills*: Many residents are being charged excessive amounts in their electricity bills, which are significantly higher than their actual consumption.
*Irresponsible and Arbitrary Behavior of Officials:* Complaints and requests made by citizens are often ignored. Some officials are functioning in an arbitrary and careless manner.
*Poor Customer Service and Staff Misbehavior:* Consumers are not receiving satisfactory assistance at electricity offices. Some employees speak and behave rudely and disrespectfully with the public.
*Delay in Meter Testing and Replacement*: Complaints related to faulty meters, meter testing, and replacement are not being addressed promptly or effectively.
Public Frustration and Helplessness: Due to all the above issues, the citizens are feeling distressed and helpless. Their trust in MSEDCL is diminishing.
We therefore humbly request you to take immediate note of the situation in the Wagholi Division and initiate appropriate and prompt action to resolve these problems.
It is our sincere hope that all citizens receive reliable, transparent, and efficient service from MSEDCL.
We look forward to a positive response from your end.
Sincerely,
*Wagholi Welfare Foundation*
🚨 Health Alert for Pune's Wagholi! 🚨
Today's @TOIPune news report reveals that rampant unplanned construction and inadequate sewage infrastructure have led to a public health crisis in the Baif Road area. Residents are battling stagnant, foul-smelling sewage water flooding their societies and roads, becoming a breeding ground for diseases.
Local residents and we Wagholi Welfare Foundation @WWFWagholi have repeatedly raised concerns with authorities like the PMC and PMRDA, but say their complaints have fallen on deaf ears.
Urgent action is needed to prevent a major health epidemic. We need proper sewage and drainage systems, and authorities need to be held accountable for giving permissions to builders without ensuring civic infrastructure.@Dev_Fadnavis@AjitPawarSpeaks@PMCPune@OfficialPMRDA
A huge thanks to @Salonee_TOIPune and @TOIPune for bringing attention to this issue .

The present condition of Silver Spring, located on BAIF Road in Wagholi, is deeply concerning. The area is plagued by dirty, stagnant water and open drainage systems that remain unattended. Accumulated garbage further worsens the situation, turning the vicinity into a potential breeding ground for mosquitoes and other harmful insects.
This unhygienic environment increases the risk of serious health hazards, including vector-borne diseases such as dengue and malaria, as well as waterborne infections and skin-related illnesses. The combination of poor waste management, lack of proper drainage, and unchecked water stagnation not only creates an unpleasant atmosphere but also endangers the well-being of residents, especially children and the elderly who are more vulnerable to infections.
