What men see in the support for Lindsay Clancy is every woman who avoided accountability for her behavior.

What women who support her see is "that could be me.

The conflict is that what's outraging a lot of men is that women want all of the privileges of traditionalism and modernism, of equality and inequality. They want to be strong and independent when it suits them but also demand endless support because they're so fragile when it suits them.

Men see the justification of every capricious divorce (or similar): selfishness and excuses.

There's truth in both perspectives but the men are more right here.

Women DO lack critical support... but that's because they are weak. Their nervous systems aren't their own. They're not optimized for performance.

This is why women worry so much. Guess what? Worrying is not productive. In fact, it's incredibly stressful and destructive to be around constant worriers. Worrying isn't useful... unless you're dealing with a baby. Babies are stupid and fragile. They actively try and die if you don't watch them for thirty seconds. You need to worry around a baby. It's just not helpful in the boardroom.

The central problem today is that women feel like men don't respect them as mothers, which is true. Men keep saying "this is what you wanted" without realizing that holding women accountable is idiotic. Men should have said to women "your desire for a voting and a career is adorable, but no." They didn't.

Lindsay Clancy killed her children because she's psychologically weak, which is approximately the same thing as being morally depraved.

I will rephrase: psychological health and moral character are roughly the same thing.

Did she have hormonal issues? Without a doubt. The bigger issue is that she was psychologically weak, i.e., she was a bad person and this didn't show up until she was flooded with hormones, sleep-deprivation, and stress.

And that's the ugly truth today: modern society produces low character men and women both, but the women are worse because an equal society is fundamentally cruel to women.

I cannot stress this point enough: treating men and women the same is cruel to women.

When men point out how awful the women are and the women respond in kind, correctly pointing out how bad the men are, they're incorrectly identifying them as equivalent. Egalitarian society degrades women more than it degrades men, though it degrades both.

Lindsay Clancy is a victim... yes, but she's also a perpetrator. The latter far more than the former.

She has fully confessed. The most just and merciful thing to do is execute her, today. Looking at her and saying "that could be me" is, frankly, insane.
