What am I missing here?
Did a test using #Angular#SignalR and #Chrome.
Without any user confirmation, we pushed a .exe file to the user's download folder. To all users on the webpage with an active SignalR session.
Is this not a big security risk?
@m4nl5r@sarah_edo@erniedesigns Hahaha. This made me laugh.
We absolutely love the left one. Its very unique with all the crunchy bits, and super tasty.
But we never remember the name, and we have always just called it "Sad lady sauce" 😂
I remember laughing at this around 20 years ago. Thinking we were lucky life was not like that anymore.
But I have stopped laughing...
This has become waay to real again.

Several years into GDPR, it remains fucking bonkers in practice. Every site on the internet gets an awful pop-up that no one reads and clicks anything to make it go away as quickly as possible. It’s an idea that 100% backfired and is pointless and makes every website worse.
@ericwastl Day 8: Treetop Tree House
https://t.co/6rCKWEKgQa
Not even started solving Day 8 yet, instead, I ended up rendering the whole forest based on the input data 🤯🥳
I just parameterized the tree generation to set the height and position.
Always wanted a reason to try #threejs
Highly recommend https://t.co/45aJOmTMVh. A Xmas calendar with small code challenges every day through to Dec. 25th. Use the language and IDE of your choice. 🧵
Skillfully designed challenges by @ericwastl.
Thank you Eric for the hard work.

@ericwastl Day 7: No Space Left On Device
Been super busy the past week. Let's see if I will catch up. I had fun writing a small #HTML render as a gimmick for this one to visualize the tree structure. Red dirs are marked for Part A solution.

@AnderskOlesen@ericwastl Cool Anders. Enjoy it. It's the journey that is fun, not the goal. Are you posting your solutions anywhere?
The best part for me is to see other solutions after I have completed them myself. I really get a lot of inspiration from that.
I'll post my solutions here as I get them done.
I'll do all my challenges using #TypeScript and @stackblitz
I'm mainly doing this to improve my TypeScript skills. I'll be happy to chat about the solutions to learn from, or help others.
To everyone making webpages.

Boom! Done. That's it. Less code, your done early. User is done.
World's a better place. 💚
Came across this super useful tool today, while I was looking through a forest of forks from a seemingly unmaintained repository. Every fork seemed like a dead end.

This allows you to filter through the weeds super fast.
Brilliant work @techgaun 🔥
