“Less than 30% chance to live...even less likely to make it to age 2”. You’re a sweet little miracle Riley Johnson! Today was your first day of Preschool. God is good. #SmallVictories#AlwaysBelieve
It was great to compete at the Queen City showcase! Thank you @MSJ_FB for hosting. I appreciate the encouragement and guidance from the coaches and student-athletes.
@ChalkLast0712 When I was a flexbone coordinator, one of my side quest goals was to run an entire game out of 1 formation (Ace). Never quite accomplished it, but got close!
Another benefit to few simple formations is you quickly get a beat on “how they’re playing you” w alignments, fits, etc.
Coaches HATE TO SEE IT.
Athletes get visibly uncomfortable.
It takes maturity to handle it correctly.
It's the REST INTERVAL.
Too often we conflate activity with achievement. But when we're training for real speed, real power, or real strength?
The session should be a lot more standing around than working.
Because the prescribed work is to go at 100% - and that takes recovery time.
So rest when the training rx demands it.
