@davidyelland@campbellclaret Just checking, this is former chair of the Oxford University Conservative Association Nick Robinson that we’re calling a rabid lefty?
In NY on business on my own during the 2004 ALCS. Watched the ‘greatest comeback’ in my hotel room, and I’ve been a Red Sox fan ever since. Watching from London these days #basescoveredlive

@giles_fraser I remember a wise priest in Jerusalem saying that countries know they’ve joined the rich world once they can outsource care of the most vulnerable to low paid immigrants
Hey @bbcweather , what’s with the daily summaries in the app? Chiswick: Sat summary, sunny, max 4; hourly no hour shows sunny, sleet 1600 on; Sun summary, sleet, max 3; hourly never below 7, max 11. Which am I supposed to believe?
Hey @Google, we just passed the 8th day of the year when the Google Calendar icon on my iPhone screen is useful. The other 357 I use someone else’s app to show me the date, which is a pain as yours is the calendar I use. Is it really beyond you to make it show the current date?
@stephenlondoner@JaneThackel @RevRichardColes Is pedantically correct to say there’s no inheritance tax (paid by beneficiaries) but there is a federal estate tax paid on the estate before distribution
